It all began back in 2012, inside a small kitchen in Canton, Michigan, where a few food lovers with big ideas decided to experiment with something new. They called it Curry on Crust, a bold attempt to bring the warmth of Indian curries and the comfort of pizza together on one plate. The goal was simple: make pizza that felt a little closer to home for Indian palates, yet exciting enough for everyone to crave.
What started as a local experiment soon turned into a crowd favorite. Butter Chicken met Mozzarella. Paneer Tikka found its place on a perfect crust. And the word spread, not just among desi families but across communities who loved a good story told through flavor.
As the brand grew, so did its ambition. The founders realized they weren’t just serving fusion pizza, they were building a new kind of food culture. That’s when Curry on Crust evolved into Pizzawala’s, a name that captured their roots, their playfulness, and their fearless approach to flavor.
As our flavors pushed boundaries, we learned something equally important: bold ideas only last when the fundamentals are strong.
